"This scene is set in Southport, but this time I had undertaken the mammoth walk to the sea, it's always much further away than it seems when you start walking, if you've ever been there you'll know what I mean! People joke that the tide never comes in at Southport, but I have seen it when there are high spring tides and it comes up right over the coast road. On this occasion it was nice to capture the sea as it breaks on the sand, another windy day so the waves had been whipped up a bit, as the light from that revealing sun plays across the tips of the waves"
