Ken Goldman has achieved international recognition as an artist, author, teacher and art juror. His education includes the National Academy of Design, the Art Student's League and New York Studio School. A recipient of numerous awards, Goldman has exhibited widely in various group shows and solo exhibitions in galleries and museums in Holland, Paris, Mexico, New York, Boston, Washington D.C. and San Diego. His most recent public commission was a fourteen-foot triptych for the San Diego Padres commemorating their opening day at Petco Park. His work is included in the permanent collections of the San Diego Museum of Fine Art, the San Diego Museum of Natural History and the Hickory Museum of Fine Art in North Carolina. He is a popular instructor at the Athenaeum School of the Arts in La Jolla, teaching Portraiture, Figure, Artistic Anatomy and Landscape painting classes. His work has been featured in Southwest Art Magazine, International Artist Magazine, the Artist’s Magazine and Watercolor Magic Magazine among others. Goldman is the author of seven instructional books on pastels, acrylics, charcoal artistic anatomy and values. Ken Goldman is a Signature Member of the National Watercolor Society, San Diego Watercolor Society, Pastel Society of America and the National Acrylic Painters Association. He is an artist member of the California Art Club.
