Born and raised in British Columbia, Li-Leger early on demonstrated a keen interest in art and an affinity for the natural world around him. This symbiosis of art and nature has been an instrumental force in Li-Leger’s life and in his decision to become an artist. When Li-Leger starts a painting, he often doesn’t know what direction it will take, preferring to find the journey in the act of discovery.
