SYLVIA ANGELI
In her paintings, Houstonian Sylvia Angeli creates mood and mystery through the exploration of scale, color and texture. Sylvia works in many mediums, but mainly paints with oils as her medium of choice. Her compositions include figures, landscapes and her well-known pear compositions. Her extensive travels in Africa, Belize, Canada, Europe, Mexico and the United States have influenced her work. Sylvia Angeli’s work is shown in galleries around Texas, California and Michigan. Angeli’s training includes degrees from Sam Houston State, the Glassell School in Houston, Rice University and Les Illusiones School in France. Her work has been published and is part of prestigious corporate and private collections.
