ALLYSON KROWITZ
Born in New Jersey, Allyson Krowitz graduated from Windham College in Putney, Vermont with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting. At the age of twenty-one she moved to France to continue her studies. Living and working in Paris for six years, Allyson became one of Europe’s top runway fashion models. During that time she studied in depth the work of Chardin, Corot and the French Impressionists. Returning to the United States and settling in Florida, Allyson undertook large-scale private and commercial custom commissions. Her fluidly rendered paintings evoke the lush and at times mysterious beauty of the tropics. Allyson Krowitz presently lives and works in Miami Beach. She exhibits at the Embler Art Gallery in Ft. Lauderdale and at Kiley Court Gallery in Provincetown, Massachusetts.
