JENSEN
Paul Jensen started painting at an early age and is considered by many of his peers to be one of the young leaders of the new landscape modernists. He began entering competitions in high school and after winning many of them, Paul knew that painting was what he was born to do. Jensen studied some in college and then, with the blessing of his parents, left school to study with independent artists all over the country. He landed on the west coast, where he has found the most inspiration. As an apprentice to many west coast artists, he has developed his own unique sense of composition and texture. His style is a blend of classic impressionism and modern geometrical composition. Today, Paul Jensen lives in California. He is constantly exploring different cultures by traveling to paint on location. He has begun to venture into a whole new area of abstracts and is excited about what he has created.
