The impressive Peanuts & Snoopy paintings, which include lithographs & lithography posters, prints and original artwork of Tom Everhart have always straddled the line between what is acceptable and what is radical in the fine arts. As the only artist given permission by Charles Schulz, creator of the Peanuts™ comic strip, to use his art as subject matter, Everhart utilizes the universality of the characters to communicate a new way of seeing. “I want my work to be very inviting," he explains. "I want people to see the attraction in it, and be lured in."

Everhart's paintings have been exhibited in museums worldwide, including the Musee du Louvre -- Paris, France, in 1990; the Museu da Cidade – Lisbon, Portugal, in 1993; and Suntory Museum -- Osaka, Japan, in 2000. Exhibitions of Tom Everhart's paintings and signed and numbered lithographs have been held at Entertainment Galleries in the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas in 2000, S2 Art Gallery in Chicago in 2003, and in 2003-04 at The Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa, CA. According to Ruth Gardner Begell, Director of the Museum, "Tom Everhart's articulate, audaciously colorful ode to Schulz's influence on another artist is the perfect exhibit for us to present as one of our earliest installations.”
