ELAINE LANOUE

Lanoue’s artwork has been included in many corporate and private collections purchased directly or through art galleries or art consultants. Previously she exhibited with her husband Guiteau Lanoue at the International Art Exposition in New York City from 1984 thru 1992 where both of their artwork was purchased by international galleries and designers. Since 1992 her focus has been exhibiting artwork at juried national shows throughout the United States.

Some of Lanoue’s awards include October 2005 Merit Award for Painting, ESAC Grand Bay Festival of Art, Fairhope, Al; April 2005 Purchase Awards (8) from corporate and private collectors at OKC Festival of Arts, 2005 Purchase Award and Featured Artist Leesburg Art Festival, 2003 Best of Painting, Tulsa International Mayfest, 2003 Finalist award for painting at Uptown Art Fair,2002 Design Award and Purchase – Lincoln Arts Council, 2002 First Place – Painting and 2001 Merit Award, Mixed Media paintings, Eastern Shore Arts Center in Fairhope, Al; 2001 2nd Mixed Media Award – Flint Institute of Modern Art, 1998 – 2000 Numerous Corporate Purchase awards as an exhibitor at the Oklahoma City Arts Council Festival of Arts.

In the past Lanoue has been featured in several editions of Who’s Who in American Women (under previous painting name of Elaine Rose), Who’s Who in Interior Design and the 1984 edition of Notable Women of Texas.
