The Chaim Goldberg Virtual Museum The Jewish Institute for the Arts (a non-profit organization) is proud to sponsor its first in a series of five virtual museums dedicated to showcase the works of a gifted Jewish artist. The mission of the institute is to promote and educate people about Jewish arts and culture, as defined by the artists' degree of dedication to the various themes and subjects that are related to the Jewish Experience and Jewish history, culture, and their response to life. Chaim Goldberg is an artist who is true to his roots and is eternalizing his experiences and life in the eastern European Shtetl in colorful oil paintings, watercolors, graphics and sculptures. His work is a rich cultural legacy of the period, providing detail, while it brings to life the whole village and its characters. Born in 1917, he will be celebrating 75 years of his art, and 80 years. His work is in over 50 public collections and numerous private collections the world over.
