~ The Bird / Der Vogel ~

"The Bird" was painted in 1996 and uses a partial use of salt for effects. The bird is sitting
in the center of the picture. This work was inspired by a paragliding flight
in the south of France viewing birds sitting in the dawn. The orange color
symbolizes the sunset, the salt application is the abstraction of bird feathers.

"Der Vogel" entstand 1996 unter parzieller Verwendung von Salz für Effekte. Der Vogel sitzt
in der Mitte des Bildes. Inspiriert bei einem Flug mit dem Gleitschirm
in Südfrankreich, als ich Vögel in der Dämmerung sitzen sah . Die orange Farbe
symbolisiert den Sonnenuntergang, Die Salz applizierten Stellen sind die Abstraktion von Vogelfedern.
