Artist Statement (Above Totem Series): The totem poles of the first peoples of the Northwest coast of North America have inspired me with their mythical stories. My Totem Series similarly offers hints of stories, ideas, and concepts. The arrangement of the images is intuitive, determined by my subconscious. All works shown are selenium - toned geletin silver images, edition of 5, total size 12" x 26" or 26" x 12".
