ProfileBased on a painting colors i understand that - love is a main idea of this picture. ProfileHot piece! It's wonderful how is only part of a body transferring such a strong feelings in to the picture. And of course colors are playing an important role here too, so the vinous choise is the right one.  8/25/2012
ProfileThe deep scarlet of the skirt is a nice emphasis on the sensuality of the pose. The outstretched hand also gives it a touch of playfulness, though, which helps balance it out. Your use of a plain background was a good decision, allowing the subject to command full attention.  8/24/2012

ProfileI love how the piece conveys a sense of crowdedness and busyness without needing to focus on close detail. The vague forms in the background provide the crowd, allowing the viewer to see the figures closer to the front and the story they tell more easily.  10/16/2012

Peach Orbit

ProfileI'm normally not a big fan of still life paintings, but this one caught my attention. Scattering the fruit to create a "landscape" was a brilliant idea, and the focus on the textures of the fruit really makes them feel lifelike. Nicely done!  10/17/2012

Through The Fog

ProfileThis piece really made me stop and think for a minute. The tree bowing under the weight of its ignored fruit -- some of which has already fallen to the ground to rot -- struck me with a surprising sense of pathos. Even the birds are ignoring the fruit.  10/17/2012
ProfileThis fun and dreamlike painting is so evocative. The composition and color palette go a long way toward bringing this image to life, yet there's something Seussian about the strangeness of what we're seeing. What an interesting new world this painting conjures!  9/5/2012

ProfileI appreciate your feedback. Exactly .  10/12/2012
ProfileLovely painting, i see woman's figure in the center. Interesting use of colors, they can refer as some kind of dress on a figure or just hidding a truly meaning of this picture.  9/27/2012
ProfileThe gradations of color combined with the contours of the figure make these piece seem almost to move on its own. This seems to me to be a celebration of beauty and the feminine; I very much like the inclusion of deeper blue tones to balance out the fiery reds and yellows.  9/26/2012
ProfileThere are some interesting juxtapositions in this piece. Ironically, I didn't even notice the lines of the nude figure right away because of the strong blocks of deep blue, gold, and pink. I'm intrigued by the title, too.  9/26/2012

Ventanas

ProfileWhat's most compelling about this geometric composition is the thick and slightly irregular black dividing lines, which are especially effective in bringing out the yellows and blues of the image. The strong diagonals in the composition are very engaging.  10/8/2012

Colourful Guitars

ProfileA fun homage to Warhol's iconic style. It's interesting that the artist chose to incorporate variations in the guitar shapes rather than use an exact replica as Warhol did. It makes me wonder if the artist chose guitars as an interest visual element or from personal interest in music.  10/8/2012

ProfileI love this artist's fun, whimsical, yet somehow thoughtful paintings. In this one, the most engaging element is the way the artist has played with the arch and circle shapes in a way that feels organic to the scene but also very playful. Profile@tracy-h Thank you for your thoughtful appraisal of my work. This is my second (adult) oil, but having worked in watercolors gave me an advantage in glazing. I learned a lot on this painting. I assumed florals would be easy. It wasn't for me, but it was great in moving forward.  9/30/2012

ProfileI really enjoy the illustrative effect of this piece. Blue Waves Lampwork Glass Brac...

ProfileThis is really beautiful glasswork. The consistency in color in the blue beads is excellent, while the mismatched patterning keeps it from looking boring. I like the twisted wire design in the clasp as well, since it makes a functional part as decorative as the rest.  9/25/2012
ProfileThis gorgeous bracelet, so simple but so beautiful. Nice combination of pure white and crystalline with blue color, this is really unique piece.  9/23/2012

The sensuality of the curves ( which gives this an almost figurative look and feel) along with the warm and pleasing colors...
