Whether painting a landscape, figure, portrait, or still-life, my goal is to see the result of a dynamic composition. My approach to any subject is the same -- to express myself with the subtle layering of colors in juxtaposition with the action of light and shadows.

The two media that I prefer to express myself in are oil and watercolor, with each having its own attraction; the painterly quality of oil and the luminosity and spontaneity of watercolor.

It makes no difference what the subject is that I paint, from the mundane to the complex or mysterious. The end result should excite the viewer and give him or her a glimpse of my perspective on life.
