A member of the 'Synergies of Confluence' series, this work exhibits the importance of negative space in allowing other environmental aspects to contrast and imply other spacial perspectives when recombined with itself. Other than fundamental photo controls: color correction, cropping, replication and a flipping of the image, this is essentially a 'straight' (as originally seen) image, as are most of the works in this series.

All materials, techniques and pigments used in producing this print are archivally in line with museum standards. Print is frontally titled and signed with copyright. A Giclee print (printed on a heavy watercolor paper substrate such as Arches) W: 92.16cm X H:29.48cm is available on a diffrent pricing structure. All measurments are from the image edges and do not include the generous griping border. Each print also include instructions for care and if followed will extend print-life so as to provide many, many decades of viewing pleasure. Buyer will pick-up actual shipping and insurance costs. Should you be in Manhattan when you place your order, I'll personally deliver the print for less than shipping/insurance. By purchasing any of my works, you agree to honor U.S. copyright statutes as they apply to this imageenjoy! samfoto@earthlink.net

A native of Baltimore, MD, Ive made N.Y.C. my home for more than half my life. I occupy a space between a world as it is, and one cloaked in personal aspirings of a world where the tension fraught relationship between Nature & humanity may evolve to one guided more by long-term possibilities of preservation, rather than a short-sighted possibility of profit. Contrasts of Nature & humanity often join forces in ways that are prophetic as to the conceptual gulf separating the two. These tensions are primary to my efforts at creating a visual discourse, one where what is, is matrix to possibilities of what might be. Visual formalities, and narrative content are not mutually exclusive, but form an osmotic linking of the two. While Nature & humanity form concerns primary to this presentation of works, some embrace subject matter beyond such issues.
