Victor Clive Hayton Born: 25th April 1945.Education: Sir Joseph Williamsons, Rochester, Kwnt. Medway College of Art, Rochester, Kent. Bournemouth and Poole College of Art.'Victor Hayton, NDD, SRD (Hons), CIC (Hons). Is an artist of exceptional talent, He first gained a diploma in Art at Southampton. This was closely followed by a course in Ceramics at Bournemouth and Poole College of Art. He left with first class honours and the highest marks recorded in the Country for many years. He spent a year writing a thesis on Goshawks before joining Royal Doulton to develop prestige pieces for the American Market. Victor later founded Border Fine Arts where he developed the cold casting techniques used widely today and gained a world wide reputation for his wildlife studies in bronze and porcelain. His painting, sculptures and jewellery pieces are represented in collections throughout the world, including those of Her Majesty the Queen, Her Majesty the Queen Mother and the Sultan of Oman. His illustrations for books on birds and animals are widely accepted as models of accuracy and artistic skill. He holds the George Washington Sandell prize for drawing.'Work in the collection of: H.
