About the Marina Picasso Estate Collection:
After Pablo Picasso's death in 1973, his granddaughter Marina authorized the printing of original lithographs, which have come to be known as the Marina Picasso Estate Collection. The lithographs were meticulously created after the original works (Oil Paintings, Watercolors, Pastels, Charcoal Drawings, etc.) by Master Chromist Marcel Salinas, who worked closely with Picasso in his lifetime. There are two editions of each image; a "signed version" of 500 and a "poster" version of 1,000. The signed version is signed by the hand of Marina Picasso and is on arches paper. The Poster version is plate signed (has the big signature across the bottom) and is on a think velin paper. The velin is actually thicker than the arches.

Pablo Diego Jos Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno Mara de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santsima Trinidad Ruiz y Picasso known as Pablo Ruiz Picasso (25 October 1881 8 April 1973) was a Spanish painter, draughtsman, and sculptor. He is best known for co-founding the Cubist movement and for the wide variety of styles embodied in his work. Among his most famous works are the proto-Cubist Les Demoiselles d'Avignon (1907) and Guernica (1937), his portrayal of the German bombing of Guernica during the Spanish Civil War.Picasso demonstrated uncanny artistic talent in his early years, painting in a realistic manner through his childhood and adolescence; during the first decade of the twentieth century his style changed as he experimented with different theories, techniques, and ideas. His revolutionary artistic accomplishments brought him universal renown and immense fortune throughout his life, making him one of the best-known figures in twentieth century art.
