	This painting really seems to catch a moment in everyday life. The relaxed pose of the human model feels very candid, and she clearly just scooped the cat up. You get a sense of both personalities and their relationship here, which is hard to do in a single image! 10/24/2012

	I like this painting a lot, and not just because of the cat (although I am a sucker for well-done cats in art). It's skillfully done, from the angle of the human and feline figures to the color palette. Really nice use of broad strokes in the hair and clothes yet realistic facial features. 8/29/2012
