This suggests to me a story out of The Arabian Nights or similar. I love how you portrayed the cascading water with manipulation of light instead of just using the classic blue tones. 9/26/2012 |

The warm palette with a central white vertical is my favorite aspect of this painting. I also like the echoed motif of the archway shape throughout. It's interesting to think about how the impact of this painting might change for the viewer in a very large size versus a small size. 9/26/2012 |
