In relation to creativity, to define is to confine. Please view Artabyss without preconceived ideas or expectations. My work is not decorative, art brut, outsider art, raw art, uneducated or educated art. It is abstract, authentic and direct.

Title: Deep "See" Life

About Me: I am not an "Outsider" or Self Taught" artist. I am formally educated in the fine arts though I chose to reject my education. I am basically egalitarian at heart . My works evolve, move upward as spirit- as all things that evolve and spiritually move toward completeness and peace.

Previously represented by Agora Gallery, New York, NY

I Thank You For Your Visit!

am NOT a "self taught" artist or "outsider" artist. To label myself is to confine my creativity. I did attend a four year university art program, but I became increasingly disillusioned with "high art" education and eventually resolved myself to the philosophy: Creativity is an objective truth that cannot be taught, and art education may instill false notions within an individual, serving only to stifle creativity. Building a formal art education actually destroys the individual growth experience and preaches trendy capitalistic ideals which change much like fashion. In essence, it reduces art to a mere marketable product.
