I was born in 1961. I have studied painting in the Siaulius Institute of Pedagogy and the Vilnius Art Academy that I graduated in 1991. I have been painting for 30 years. Meanwhile I have organized several exhibitions and events, e.g., leading the Birzu regional artists group "8 plius" ("8 pluss").
Besides that I write as a journalist and a poet. In 2000 I became a member of Lithuanian Artists Union. My artwork belong to collectors from USA, Norway, Germany. I have been teaching the young artist for 20 years... I value art that is deep. They can be compared and solves like riddles. In order to feel them directly and admire childishly it takes close observation of each stroke. I am glad if I manage to sense the fragile layer of some dear, old, far and commonly recognized archetypes.
