This is indeed another charming piece of art by P. Gnana. With an understated Indian tone, the painting reflects a silent, contemplative communication between the central figure, the little bird (a great listener!) and the soothing moon (the omnipresent on-looker). Magical!

When it is a painting by P. Gnana, the emotion arrests your heart before the concept reaches your mind. His art is in the collection of the President of the Republic of Singapore) and the Singapore Art Museum (National Heritage Board). Born and brought up in Neyveli (Tamil Nadu), Gnana is a distinguished Singapore-based international artist whose works are collected in Latin America, Europe, South Asia and Southeast Asia. Gnana is also a recipient of the LASALLE Scholarship of the LASALLE College of the Arts (Singapore), from where he received his formal training in the art of painting.
