Daina's creative life started with brightcoloured impressionism. She mixes fantasy elements with the floral motives. Daina is an active and constant participant in the Artists Union. Her attention is paid to the relation between inner creative content and realistic shapes of flowers. Although she uses forms already existing in the nature, Daina's intention is not one of precise imitation. Artist intends to fullfill the form. Flowers emanate a scent, they talk about the mysterious and beautiful feminine nature. Not only is that a part of nature, but also a symbolic bond with the humanity and universe.
