Watercolor on paper. Elisabeth Taylor is a beauty icon for me and I tried to reflect her strong and characteristic eyes. Delivery included.

Interesting piece, those black eyes are looking very lovely. Nice touch with highlighting all facial lines, and leaving all rest of the body in grey colors. It looks very beautiful 10/1/2012
I love the subtle quality of this painting. Using shades of gray, black, and white to create an instantly-recognizable portrait of an icon was clever, as well as evocative of old movies. The eyes and lips really jump out at you. 9/26/2012
The medium is beautifully handled in this simple portrait, which is so realistically portrayed that I would have recognized the subject even without the hint of the title. The high contrast, with focus on the facial features, is nicely done. 9/26/2012
I agree. The eyes really draw the viewer's attention. 3/13/2012
Great study of Elizabeth Taylor! I like that for the watercolor you chose only black and white. She was part of the golden age of Hollywood, films were all in black and white. Wonderful job. 3/13/2012
