"ENIGMA 13" is a 3 dimensional mirror sculpture utilizing a number of different materials:
Brushed aluminum coated with clear polyurethane
Painted aluminum
Painted perforated steel
Brushed stainless steel
Polished stainless steel
Acrylic
Mirror glass "made in USA"
An aluminum frame system on the back holds all the components securely in place and prevents twisting. All fasteners are stainless steel with the exception of the chrome button head bolts on the front of the sculpture.
The brushed aluminum was spayed with 4 coats of polyurethane specially made to adhere to aluminum. The parts were than sanded flat and again sprayed with 4 coats. The parts were than meticulously color sanded and polished to give them a look like they are covered in glass!
